A ground bracket is included with the SONGMICS side awning. We are often asked whether the base post of a side awning can be removed again after installation. This is actually possible with this base plate! Simply slide the lower part of the post into the ground bracket when you are using your side awning and want to be protected from the sun, wind or prying eyes. Pull the bracket out again and roll up the awning when you need a little more space on your patio or in your garden.
